How To Increase Maximum Upload And Post Size

Many bloggers face a common error at the time of upload of a big size file. That maximum upload size reached and their upload gets failed. This usually appears when a blogger tries to restore his old site backup. So, in this post, I will tell you how to increase the maximum upload size in Cpanel.
There are 2 methods by which you can increase upload size –

PHP INI Editor

  1. Open your Cpanel and search for the PHP INI editor.
  2. Then open the PHP INI editor panel.
  3. There you will find Configure PHP INI basic settings option and a Select a location menu.
  4. In select, a location menu selects the site for which you want to increase upload size.
  5. Then scroll below and search for post_max_size & upload_max_filesize.
  6. Increase the size at both options and click on the apply button.
    If you don’t find Php INI Editor option in your Cpanel, then go with the below method.

PHP Selector

  1. Open your Cpanel and go to Select Php version option.
  2. In Select PHP version window go to the ‘Options’ menu located at the top side.
  3. Then scroll below and search for post_max_size & upload_max_filesize.
  4. Increase upload size at both options and it will automatically get applied.
